Last updated: 12/30/2025
uHUMN (“uHUMN,” “we,” “us,” “our”) cares about the privacy and safety of families who use TEDDI AI toys and related services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you and your child use:
TEDDI AI toys (“TEDDI Toys,” “Products”)
The Kingdom of Natural Intelligence platform and AI features
Our websites, apps, and online services (together, the “Services”)
By using the Products or Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Products or Services.
1. Children’s Privacy and COPPA
TEDDI AI toys are designed for use by children under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian. We strive to comply with applicable U.S. children’s privacy laws, including the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), where they apply.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent.
Parents or guardians create and manage accounts, set up TEDDI AI toys, and control whether certain features (including voice capture) are enabled.
If we learn that a child’s personal information was collected without required parental consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete it as soon as practicable.
If you believe we may have collected a child’s information without proper consent, please contact us using the details in Section 11.
2. Information We Collect
The specific information we collect depends on how you use our Products and Services and the settings you choose.
2.1 Information you provide
Account information: Name, email address, password, and optional profile details when you create an account or register a Product.
Child profile settings: Nickname or first name, approximate age or age range, and preferences you choose to share to personalize experiences.
Support and communication: Information you provide when you contact us, participate in surveys, give feedback, or join parent programs.
2.2 Voice and text data
To enable AI interactions and features, we may collect:
Voice data: Audio of your child speaking with TEDDI AI toys (e.g., questions, responses, conversations).
Text data: Transcripts of voice interactions and any text typed into apps, websites, or forms connected to TEDDI AI toys.
You may be able to control whether voice recording is enabled and how long it is retained (see Section 7).
2.3 Usage and device information
We may collect:
Device identifiers, model, operating system, and basic technical details.
Time and duration of interactions, features used, and in‑toy or in‑app navigation.
Approximate location based on IP address or general region (not precise GPS) to support regional settings and security.
2.4 Aggregated and de‑identified data
We may create aggregated or de‑identified data (not reasonably tied to an individual) for analytics, safety research, and product improvement.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information described above to:
Provide and operate TEDDI AI toys and Services, including enabling AI conversations, personalization, and safety features.
Customize experiences for your child based on age range, settings, and usage patterns.
Maintain safety and security, including detecting misuse, improving filters, and protecting children and systems.
Maintain and improve the Kingdom of Natural Intelligence platform, SAFER AI methodology, and related products.
Communicate with parents/guardians about updates, safety notices, account matters, and customer support.
Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms & Conditions.
We do not use children’s personal information for targeted advertising.
4. Tokenization and AI Processing
TEDDI AI toys are powered by the Kingdom of Natural Intelligence platform and SAFER AI methodology. To make this work safely:
We may convert voice and text content into tokenized or encoded representations so that AI models can process interactions.
Tokenization does not change ownership of the underlying content (see Section 5).
We may use tokenized and de‑identified data to improve our models, safety systems, and child‑appropriate behavior over time.
We take technical and organizational steps to prevent tokenized data from being used to personally identify a child, except where necessary to provide the Services or meet legal obligations.
5. Ownership of Content and License
You own your content: Voice and text content generated by you or your child during use of TEDDI AI toys remains owned by you (or your child, as applicable), subject to the license below.
By using the Products and Services, you grant uHUMN a limited, non‑exclusive, worldwide, royalty‑free license to use, process, store, reproduce, and analyze the content and tokenized forms solely to:
Provide and maintain the Products and Services.
Develop and improve child‑safe AI and safety features.
Conduct research and analytics in aggregated or de‑identified form.
We do not sell your voice or text content. We may share content with trusted service providers as described in Section 6 under contractual safeguards.
6. How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information to third‑party advertisers. We may share information in these limited ways:
6.1 Service providers
We may share information with carefully selected vendors who help us:
Host our Services and store data.
Process audio, text, and AI interactions.
Provide analytics, security, and support.
These providers may only use information to perform services for us and must protect it consistent with this Policy and applicable law.
6.2 Legal and safety
We may disclose information when we believe it is necessary to:
Comply with a law, regulation, legal process, or government request.
Protect the rights, safety, or property of children, users, uHUMN, or the public.
Detect, prevent, or address fraud, security issues, or misuse.
6.3 Business transfers
If uHUMN is involved in a merger, acquisition, asset sale, or similar transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to continued protections consistent with this Policy.
7. Parental Controls, Choices, and Rights
As a parent or legal guardian, you may have important controls and rights over your child’s information, subject to technical and legal limits:
Review and access: Request access to certain information associated with your child’s use of TEDDI AI toys.
Correction and deletion: Request correction or deletion of specific personal information, where feasible.
Settings and controls:
Enable/disable certain voice features.
Adjust content and age settings.
Limit data retention (where supported).
To exercise these rights, please follow in‑app instructions or contact us using the details in Section 11. We may need to verify your identity and relationship to the child before fulfilling certain requests.
8. Data Retention and Security
8.1 Retention
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary to:
Provide the Products and Services.
Fulfill the purposes described in this Policy.
Meet legal, accounting, or reporting obligations.
We may retain aggregated or de‑identified data that cannot reasonably be linked back to a child or parent for longer periods.
8.2 Security
We use reasonable technical, administrative, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access or disclosure.
Despite our efforts, no system is completely secure. Parents and guardians should also:
Use strong, unique passwords.
Keep apps and devices updated.
Supervise use of connected devices by children.
9. Nevada Privacy Notice
Because uHUMN is based in Nevada and may have Nevada customers:
Nevada law may provide specific rights regarding certain personal information, such as the ability to opt out of certain sales of covered information.
uHUMN does not sell personal information as “sale” is commonly understood under Nevada privacy law. If our practices change, we will update this Policy and provide required notices.
If you are a Nevada consumer and have questions about how your data is handled, please contact us (Section 11).
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements.
When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and may provide additional notice (for example, via email or in‑app notifications).
Your continued use of the Products or Services after the effective date of an updated Policy constitutes acceptance of the changes.
For significant changes affecting children’s data, we may seek renewed parental consent where required by law.
