Gregory Sklar is a boundary-pushing director, producer, and creative visionary whose work bridges environmental consciousness, immersive storytelling, and the healing power of nature. With over two decades of experience across television, live events, and immersive technologies, Sklar’s diverse background informs his unique cinematic voice—one that blends art, ethics, and innovation.

A former morning show co-host and weatherman for Good Morning Vail, Gregory’s early on-air charisma evolved into a rich production career, spanning roles from writer and showrunner to creative director and executive producer. His credits include work with Don Simpson Productions, Enlightened Ego Entertainment, and Atom & Eva Productions, where he developed immersive operas and XR experiences that redefined audience engagement.

As founder of the Burning Man Profiles in Dust documentary team (2013–2018) and a longtime cultural ambassador for the festival, Sklar honed a rare ability to capture ephemeral, emotionally resonant stories rooted in community and visionary culture. His role in public relations and art event production for the City of Chicago and the Colorado Alliance of Visionary Arts further showcases his dedication to blending civic engagement with artistic expression.

Gregory is also the executive director of Wild Horse Project, where he trains wild mustangs for performance and therapeutic work. This passion lies at the heart of his latest documentary—an exploration of the ancient bond between horses and humans, and a call to reimagine the future of AI through the lens of empathy, non-verbal communication, and natural intelligence.

With a B.A. in Environmental Studies (Honors Cum Laude) from the University of Colorado Boulder, 2 Harvard Certificates and a NASA Space Apps Ambassador, with his diverse background in improv from Chicago’s Second City and Annoyance Theater, Sklar brings a rare mix of intellectual depth, humor, and visionary production to the screen.
